What you’re looking at could be one of the most pristine 1983 DeLorean DMC-12’s in existence and while it isn’t cheap, it’s certainly quite special.
DeLorean is in the midst of a dramatic revival and while it remains to be seen if its ambitious EV plans ever come to fruition, the DMC-12 will long remain one of the most intriguing stories of the automotive industry.
Famously built for two years between 1981 and 1983, the DMC-12 was designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro and was the sole model produced by the DeLorean Motor Company. It became world-famous because of Back to the Future but even if it was never featured in the film, we have no doubt that it would still stand out.

This particular DMC-12 has been listed up for sale through Podium Auto Sales in Pompano Beach, Florida with a $98,000 asking price.
The dealership notes that the car was put into storage in 1986 with just over 5,000 miles (8,000 km) on the clock and that it has remained in a climate-controlled facility ever since. To get it ready for sale, the fuel pump, spark plugs, oil filter, fuel lines, and coolant were all replaced, while the fuel tank was also flushed. Additionally, the brake calipers were recently rebuilt and the struts for the doors and luggage compartment were also replaced. It also features a fresh new headliner.
Unsurprisingly, the car looks to be in immaculate condition and it even features the original 1981-dated Goodyear tires. The exterior shows no signs of obvious wear and with the exception of some cracking and creases across the interior parts trimmed in black leather, you could be excused for thinking the car had just rolled off the production line.
